Courses being developed for this website take into consideration available bandwidth including both modem speeds and heavily trafficked networks.

Narrow band include dial up modems (28.8 Kb - 33.6 Kb, 56 Kb) and some ISDN, DSL and heavily trafficked networks.
Broadband consists of T-1, Cable, Business DSL, and T-3.Narrow bandwidth courses are just as effective as broadband learning platforms when they use:

• interactive learning activities that engage the student
• small file size photos and graphics
• limited audio with limited or no streaming video
• well designed Macromedia Flash animation movies
• an assessment at the end of each course
